Description
As Clint moved quietly into the hotel room, he immediately regretted choosing close range assassination. Apart from the fact it wasn't his style, he realised that it had been a mistake. Though his long range vision was spectacular, up close he could actually see her.
He could see she was very, very young. He frowned, holding his gun with white-knuckled hands as he stared at the sleeping girl. She wouldn't be older than seventeen and he was supposed to kill her. Clint knew Nick Fury must have had a good reason for wanting her dead, but he wasn't sure he'd be able to pull the trigger even if he knew.
And in that small moment of hesitation, she opened her eyes.
"Are you here to kill me?" she asked immediately, not looking the least bit phased by his presence.
Clint said nothing, unable to respond. He was there to kill her, yes. But he hadn't yet and he wasn't sure he would.
"I just woke up," she sighed, turning over to face him properly. "At least let me eat my breakfast."
Clint lowered the gun slightly, and he said, "Breakfast. Then I'll kill you."

HEY THAR I am so very tired but I had this idea and I'm obsessed with marvel atm so this is how I see Clint and Natasha meeting, it's not comic-verse, it's movie-verse, etc.
Also, disclaimer, I own nothing. But I do love Hawkeye.

I absolutely love this! The digital art is great, but what gets me is the story. So very well written and so in character for both of them. And the pictures you chose to use so perfectly depict the emotions they have in the story. Well done, well done. I completely accept this story as canon.
